Great news! The Crystal Skipper officially has a name - Atrytonopsis quinteri. The crystal skipper is only found along a 30-mile stretch of North Carolina's barrier islands in the Bogue Banks area (the crystal coast!). It is globally rare and adult populations during each of the spring and summer flights are around 9000.
